Meet Dr. Glosenger

Jeremiah Glosenger’s father was in the military, so they lived all over the country. He considers North Dakota his home and has fallen in love with the city of Minot. After he graduated high school, Dr. Glosenger went straight into the workforce for 10 years. He served on a mission between the ages of 25 and 27, then decided to attend dental school. He had met some dentists and was curious about integrating science and biology into his career. When he attended an externship at Cook County Hospital during dental school, he knew that oral surgery was the perfect fit for him.

Dr. Glosenger’s entrepreneurial spirit was bright from a young age, and he has always been driven to excel at whatever he does. His passion for oral surgery inspired him to pursue membership in many accredited dental organizations. He specializes in the safe administration of anesthesia and wants his patients to know that they can expect to receive the highest level of care and respect possible when they visit our office.

Education and Residency

Dr. Glosenger studied biology at Brigham Young University in Idaho and attended dental school at Marquette University School of Dentistry, where he graduated first in his class. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree Summa Cum Laude in 2007. Dr. Glosenger received the American Dental Association Student Scholarship for academic excellence in 2004, the Lord’s Dental Studio Scholarship in recognition of technical excellence in 2005, and the William S. Kramer Award of Excellence in 2006.

Dr. Glosenger completed his oral surgery residency at The Ohio State University, where he earned a Master’s degree and his residency certificate. During this time, he was mentored by excellent faculty, including Department Chair Dr. Peter Larsen and Dr. Edwin McGlumphy, an expert prosthodontist. Dr. Glosenger gained extensive, hands-on surgical experience in both clinical and hospital-based settings and mastered the safe administration of various forms of anesthesia. Ohio State is considered one of the top anesthesia training centers in the country for oral surgery, and Dr. Glosengers feels honored to have had the opportunity to receive valuable knowledge utilizing cutting-edge technology during his residency. Here, he also gained extensive hands-on training in the placement of dental implants and how to restore full functionality to patients via implant replacement strategies.

Dr. Glosenger is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), a member of The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), American Dental Association, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the North Dakota Dental Association. He is also a peer reviewer for The Journal of the American Dental Association.

He also has a love for martial arts and has personal expertise in Tae Kwon Do (4th Dan Black Belt) and Hapkido (1st Dan Black Belt). Dr. Glosenger loves giving back to his community and volunteers at his church. In his free time, he can be found fixing and admiring classic and contemporary muscle cars.
